The Moto Guzzi V85 Strada - A Sporty Take on Adventure Touring

Moto Guzzi V85 Strada 2024

The new V85 Strada positions itself as the most road-focused option within the lineup. It features weight-saving cast aluminum wheels, a three-mode ride selection (Sport, Road, and Rain), and a basic rider aid package with ABS and traction control (an IMU is available as an optional upgrade). The Strada also sheds the grab rails, luggage rack, and skid plate found on its siblings for a lighter weight of 498 pounds, making it the lightest and most nimble V85 of the bunch.

Moto Guzzi V85 TT - The Classic Adventure Choice

Moto Guzzi V85 TT 2024

The V85 TT serves as the middle ground between the Strada and the Travel. It builds upon the Strada's foundation by incorporating an Off-Road riding mode, cornering ABS and traction control via a standard IMU, tubeless wire-spoke wheels with Michelin Anakee Adventure tires, and a remote spring preload adjuster for the shock absorber. The TT also retains the grab rails and a skid plate for a more traditional adventure touring look and functionality. With a weight of 507 pounds, the TT finds a balance between on-road agility and off-road capability.

Moto Guzzi V85 TT Travel - Loaded for Long Hauls

Moto Guzzi V85 TT Travel 2024

The V85 TT Travel is the most feature-rich variant, geared towards riders who prioritize comfort and luggage capacity for extended touring adventures. It incorporates all the standard features of the TT and adds a large touring windscreen with side deflectors, easily removable panniers, heated grips, and a heated rider seat. The TT Travel utilizes Dunlop Trailmax Meridian tires, hinting at its road-going touring focus despite its wire-spoke wheels. While the additional features contribute to a higher weight of 535 pounds, the creature comforts and extended range make the TT Travel a compelling option for long-distance riders.
