First time I learned about ninebot e200p was when I applied to one of my local stores selling e-scooters and e-motorcycles. When I told them that would like an e-scooter which could be used not only by myself, but also by my old mother: best quality, convenient and fast enough - to stay in traffic without having the others to overtake me constantly.
So they offered an e200p by ninebot to me after about a week.
They told me that this e-scooter is the best, top model among e-scooters - no other e-scooters can reach 100km/h speed.
And after I found a less-powered e125 model in a other local store and tried to sit on it to make sure it is OK for my 188cm height I made the decision.
I pre-ordered e200p with the delivery from Chinese plant. I also ordered an additional trunk (although the under-seat trunk is suitable for standard helmet - without jaw protection). Also an additional optional battery was ordered - as the advertisement showed it can go up to 200km with it. Actually I understood that this distance should be divided by 2. But it was still OK to me. They also assured me that it is possible to choose a plastic color. And I choosed the white - as the most visible.
So I did it.
After 2 months of waiting they called and said: good news - it came. I quickly arrived.
1) The e200p was black, totally. No any piece of white pre-ordered plastic was on it.
2) There was no pre-discussed hub-motor by Bosch as we talked about during order process. Segway writing was on it.
I was shocked a bit - as the producing company treated the customer requests.
3) The additional pre-ordered trunk did not come.
4) The rubber battery hatch cover also did not come.
I was shocked more.
But the recently seen racing with these e200p on YouTube and its nice stylish view where stronger than my shock and bought it.
Service book 'which probably won't be necessary' - as they said was also filled.
It got dark. I bought a helmet and a protective outfit in near store. Serious vehicle that requires M category in the diving license (I also have A).
So I plugged the headphones and started riding to home. Scooter was quick and quiet - I could hear the wind noise and navigation only.
I was riding in the Moscow city streets and... suddenly was shocked by its hopping on the small for any car pit. Hey! What about the damping system? - I cried asking. Here it is! - the scooter replied with another pain hopping.
After 5 kilometers my home district houses appeared and... scooter suddenly stopped going. No any accelerator throttle move reaction it showed. Only a quite bit rear hub-motor wheel rotation after several times to start. And the small wrench sign was blinking on the scooter screen with the big 12 number instead of speed displayed.
I was totally shocked and surprised - the first and only 5, FIVE kilometers of using and the serious issues are on?! WTF?!
This was my first (and last I guess) experience of Segway-ninebot products. It seems to me that one of them bought another one. But when I was pushing the rest of 3km this sh@tty 110-kg (maybe even more with additional battery) useless scooter it was not I needed to know that moment.
I guess it is not necessary to describe in details how I got this e200p back to the store.
Since this negative experience I won't get in any businesses with the Chinese startups (and non-startups - too).
The store representatives told me later that their service-men re-connected a wire from bad hall-sensor to another one so it would be OK great after it but I can hardly believe in it.
As hardly as I could get my money back after 3 weeks and having to apply to my friend lawyer.
So if would like to try how it could be when you pushing the unworkable heavy scooter uphill about 3km - you welcome. But thats enough for me.
P. S.
Also tried to reach a production company. After sharing this experience I was only answered: we are not in Russia.
