66k oz dollars , 1400 kz DQS failure, not a one ducati dealer person, in oz knows how electronics interface with each system which they do . DQS fails due to heat generated from power made, lots . A inductance prox sensor which the DQS is, is not suppose to be put in an enviroment were it is , on top of muffler, why do they have service letter that comes with a plastic scoop to direct air over DQS, why do they push all the after market exhausts that have systems that have mufflers remote from gearbox area , to get heat away from sensors. Yes, just change the sensor, but its only going to cook it.IF someone reads this , can anyone tell me what sensing medium does the IMU's use [ laser gyro e.g 777 primary flt computers , or the old spinning top type . This bike looks a million dollars, but is a heap of shit, its not that i dont like ducaties have had a 851sp3 since new its a brute ,luv it , and a rc30 , a swiss watch, ducati are getting to much a big head , there not motor cycles any more just someone that is looking for life style to buy.
